Come experience an empowering journey of inner peace, in depth healing, self rejuvenating and total well being  with the practice of daily sound current, Kundalini Yoga and meditation. Retreat goers will have the opportunity to learn about the power of sound and music mantras and healing through Kundalini energy. We will be exploring the chakras, Kundalini yoga, sound yoga ( Yoga VOICE), and mantra meditations, all in one week by the beautiful Pacific Riviera to be held at Mexico’s breathtaking Present Moment Retreat.

YOGA INSTRUCTORS

 

SHABAD  SAROOP SINGH :  a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher trainer and instructor, co-founder and director of MONTREAL’S Equilibrium Yoga. In 1981 he met Yogi Bhajan and has since studied under his personal tutelage. He has been teaching Yoga for 26 years and regularly travels to study and deepen his knowledge of Yoga. Shabad shares the teachings with a rare warmth, humanity, wisdom and a sense of humour. Teaching for him is a vehicle to serve others and to contribute to the upliftment of humanity.

 

LEA LONGO (NAM JIWAN KAUR)  a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher, professional award winning singer /songwriter and chanting kirtan artist. Lea has traveled to India where she was taught by true chanting masters and has a passion for sharing her voice and knowledge through YOGA VOICE, a sound yoga that encompasses awareness, self-empowerment, and inner-strength through sound and meditation.

 

*Yogi Bhajan, Master of Kundalini Yoga, arrived in the United States in 1969 with a stated purpose: ³I have come to create Teachers, not to gather disciples². Since then he has traveled internationally teaching Kundalini Yoga, the Yoga of Awareness. In 1969 Yogi Bhajan founded 3HO ­ the Happy, Healthy, Holy Organization, based on his first principle: ³Happiness is your birthright².

YOU ARE FREE AFTER LUNCH TO BE ON YOUR OWN AND EXPLORE THE SIGHT, BEACH TANNING, MEDITATION IN THE GARDENS, TAKE ANOTHER YOGA CLASS AT THE CENTER, (INCLUDED) PLANNING YOUR MASSAGES ETC…

 

9 PM   KIRTAN AND DRUM CIRCLES  (2-3 NIGHTS)

We will be participating in drum circles where there will be music and chanting. Chanting brings peace to the mind and uplifts the heart by layering and arranging itself through our many tones and voices. You will feel the beautiful intense energy of the group, filled with harmony and happiness.

 

Guided adventure trip includes on activity such as hiking in the Sierra Madre Mountains, horseback riding, kayaking, snorkeling, or surfing.
